A: SANOBONES is a Calcium Supplement.

A: Osteoporosis, Osteopenia, Hypothyroidism & Osteoarthritis.

A: It ensures enhanced Absorption of Calcium, fight weak bones & Osteoporosis.

A: The contents of SANOBONES are Calcitriol, Calcium Citrate & Zinc.

A: The main ingredient is Calcium Citrate & it plays an important role in Strengthening bones and teeth, Regulating muscle functioning, such as contraction and relaxation, Regulating heart functioning, Blood clotting, Transmission of nervous system messages and Enzyme function.

A: SANOBONES contains Calcium Citrate instead of Calcium Carbonate & Calcitriol instead of Vitamin D.

A: Calcium Citrate is best absorbed in an acidic environment, hence calcium citrate is the best absorbed supplemental form of calcium. It does not require extra stomach acid for absorption; hence we may take it anytime in a day, even on an empty stomach. Whereas Calcium Carbonate is alkaline based and requires extra stomach acid for better absorption.

A: Vitamin D is essential for the stabilization of the consumed Calcium in our body. Vitamin D is first converted into Calcitriol. In short, Calcitriol is an active form of Vitamin D. Introduction of Calcitriol in SANOBONES will fasten the action of Calcium absorption in the body.

A: People showing Calcium deficiency, Joint Pain, Numbness, Tingling in Fingers, Convulsions, Abnormal heart rhythms, Muscle Cramps, Muscle Aches, Muscle Pain, Tooth decay, Weak Bones, Poor growth (in children), Pale skin, Dry Scaly Skin, Easily Fatigued.

A: Many people don't get recommended amounts of calcium from the foods they eat. This includes women over the age of 50 and girls from 9 to 18 years of age.

Certain groups of people are more likely than others to have trouble getting enough calcium:

  • Postmenopausal women because they experience greater bone loss and do not absorb calcium as well. Sufficient calcium intake from food, and supplements if needed, can slow the rate of bone loss.
  • Women of childbearing age whose menstrual periods stop (amenorrhea) because they exercise heavily, eat too little, or both. They need sufficient calcium to cope with the resulting decreased calcium absorption, increased calcium losses in the urine, and slowdown in the formation of new bone.
  • People with lactose intolerance cannot digest this natural sugar found in milk and experience symptoms like bloating, gas, and diarrhea when they drink more than small amounts at a time. They usually can eat other calcium-rich dairy products that are low in lactose, such as yogurt and many cheeses, and drink lactose-reduced or lactose-free milk.
  • Vegans (vegetarians who eat no animal products) and ovo-vegetarians (vegetarians who eat eggs but no dairy products), because they avoid the dairy products that are a major source of calcium in other people's diets.

A: Insufficient intakes of calcium do not produce obvious symptoms in the short term because the body maintains calcium levels in the blood by taking it from bone. Over the long term, intakes of calcium below recommended levels have health consequences, such as causing low bone mass (osteopenia) and increasing the risks of osteoporosis and bone fractures. Symptoms of serious calcium deficiency include numbness and tingling in the fingers, convulsions, and abnormal heart rhythms that can lead to death if not corrected. These symptoms occur almost always in people with serious health problems or who are undergoing certain medical treatments.

A: Osteopenia is a condition where bone mineral density is lower than normal. It is considered by many doctors to be a precursor to osteoporosis. More specifically, osteopenia is defined as a bone mineral density T-score between -1.0 and -2.5.

Osteoporosis is the thinning of bone tissue and loss of bone mineral density over time. Osteoporosis occurs when the body fails to form enough new bone, when too much old bone is reabsorbed by the body, or both. If you do not get enough calcium, or if your body does not absorb enough calcium from the diet, bone production and bone tissues may suffer. As you age, calcium and phosphate may be reabsorbed back into the body from the bones, which makes the bone tissue weaker. This can result in brittle, fragile bones that are more prone to fractures, even without injury.

A: Bone mineral density is measured by a test called Densitometry which uses X-rays or Ultrasonic Sound waves to measure how many grams of calcium and other bone minerals are packed into a segment of bone. T-score & Z-scores determine the calcium & mineral content of the bones.

A: T score is the number of standard deviations above or below the average bone mineral density value for a healthy person.

Z -score is the number of standard deviations above or below the average bone mineral density value for a healthy person of comparable age.

Normal bone density: a value within one standard deviation of the T score

Osteopenia: T-score of -1 to -2.5

Osteoporosis: T-score of -2.5 or greater.

A: Excessive calcium intake may contribute to Constipation, Gastritis, Kidney stones.

A: Yes, definitely. Sanobones will help to increase the calcium level to a large extent. However, we also recommend you to improve your dietary intake as per the below mentioned list.

A: Following is a list of foods that give you more than 300 mg of calcium per 100 gm of that food.

"Kudos! You guys are doing a great job! I had spent a fortune for my mother’s knee pain. Fortunately I could take her to the Health Camp conducted by REVAA LIFECARE in our society premises. The doctors not only accurately diagnosed the problem but also suggested some supplements. She is on Sanobones, a calcium supplement since two years now and her condition is better."
